Using the Vehicle Element

When to use this instead of a regular item
Use the Vehicle Quick Add element for any car, truck, or similar registered vehicle. It pre-fills the category as "Vehicles" and opens a dedicated section for fields a normal item doesn't have.
Vehicle-specific fields
- VIN — the vehicle identification number
- License Plate
- Mileage
- Registration Expires
These fields appear directly on the item card once you use the Vehicle element, so you don't need to open the full detail view just to fill them in.
Photos for a vehicle
A clear exterior photo plus a close-up of the VIN plate (usually visible on the dashboard through the windshield, or on the driver's-side door frame) gives the strongest documentation.
Vehicles in exports
On formats that support it, vehicle-specific fields are shown inline. On the Simple format specifically, free-tier exports show a note that vehicle details exist but require Pro to display — Pro exports show them directly.
